William P. Breslow
Founder and Principal, Strategic Direct
Bill founded Strategic Direct in 1993. He has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and promotion. His client history covers a wide range of business models and product categories, including solar energy, consumer package goods, retail grocery and consumer durables. He organizes and directs all teams.
Prior to forming Strategic Direct, Bill held senior account management positions with strategic sales and promotion agencies including PGM, Inc., Chicago, IL, and Glendinning, Inc. Westport, CT.
In addition to running Strategic Direct, Bill is the founder and Principal of TechScholar LLC, and an accomplished metal sculptor – 257sculpture.com. His wife Linda is a painter and they spend their leisure time traveling.
Executive Vice President
Leah joined Strategic Direct in 2008. She coordinates project teams, supervises and traffics all major projects and initiatives, coordinates vendors, project timelines, and deliverables.
In addition, she coordinates our client related marketing communications programs, copy development and creative web and print projects.
Before joining Strategic Direct, Leah was a Senior Project Manager at IMAIRA Digital Media and Learning. Prior to that she worked in a series of progressively responsible positions in sales and marketing at People magazine in the Time Warner headquarters in New York City.
Steve has extensive experience as a senior executive in general management, sales and marketing and a proven track record of building businesses.
Steve served as Senior Vice President of Fujifilm USA, Inc., and General Manager of the company’s Recording Media Division, which he grew to the industry leader in high capacity removable storage products. While with Fujifilm, Steve developed key customer relationships and created talented marketing and sales teams recognized as the best in the industry.
Prior to joining Fujifilm, Steve held sales, marketing and management positions with Burroughs Corporation, Memorex Corporation, Life Savers and the Oral-B Company.
Director, Web Development
David has more than a decade of experience in building complex, database driven web applications. He has been working with Strategic Direct since 2003 and leads our Web Development Team. David has worked with clients across the United States, in addition to building and selling two internet startups.
David’s unique skill is identifying the marketing and business requirements of a web project and then designing an elegant, user-friendly technical solution that is within a client’s budget. He is particularly interested in the usability of web applications. David is a frequent speaker on search engine optimization and is an active participant in the national community of internet marketers. He is a Yale graduate.
Stephen Robinson PhD
Director Web Programming / Architecture
Stephen has spent over 15 years developing software and has been working with Strategic Direct since 2005.
He supervises web application development, and directs the team in core operating architecture, programming to support robust, high-traffic websites and site security issues. Steve also provides direction and supervision of all activities necessary for our web applications to communicate with other web applications when data exchanges, web services and joint partnerships are necessary.
He is a prolific inventor and innovator and has “hands-on” knowledge of every aspect of building software. He has led teams of up to 10 people on multi-year projects for clients in a range of industries, including a mission-critical contract management system for NetJets, Inc.
Stephen holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Durham University, where he focused on artificial intelligence, and was a post-doctoral research fellow at Yale University. He speaks frequently on a variety of technology topics.
Manager, Account Services
Strategic Planning / Sr. Copywriter
Jude has worked intensively with Strategic Direct since 2009. She has more than 30 years experience in management, marketing and operations and has been achieving marketing results for B2B clients since 1999.
Her work includes positioning, messaging, and developing powerful and effective copy for websites; brochures, sell sheets, and postcards; print and email newsletters; white papers and articles.
Her clients have included Pitney Bowes, DoubleClick, Return Path, Intrasphere Technologies and Visser Software and most recently, TechScholar sales training projects for Fujifilm, HP and Brother International.
Director of Public Relations
Richard Roher has more than 35 years of experience providing public relations services to U.S. and international companies, with a focus on electronics and technology.
His work includes strategic planning for public relations, marketing public relations that support a client’s sales activity and publicity, as well as corporate public relations, internal communications, investor relations and special events.
He works with traditional print media, web media and social media as appropriate to the client and project. He and his team have first-name familiarity with many reporters, bloggers and analysts covering the B2B space.
Richard’s clients have included AT&T, Sanyo Corp., L-3 Communications, New England Digital Corp. and tii Network Technologies.
